Play Frat Hymn

The Mu Kappa Chapter, "Tha Mobster Krew" was founded on September 30, 1980.  The first line initiated was the "Elite Eleven".

Through the years, many have crossed the burning sands into Sigma. The current count on the campus is now twenty-six plus, and still growing strong.  Mu Kappa participates in many activities in the community including car washes, volunteer work with high school students, donations to numerous charitable organizations in the community, and donating food to the less fortunate in the community. Many of our members have served in great capacity on the state and local levels in the community, such as student government, SGA Vice President, two members have served as Second Vice State Director for Phi Beta Sigma in the state of Alabama, and at the present moment, Brother Patrick Harris serves as the current State Treasure. Our chapter is well known on the campus of the University of West Alabama for being involved in student housing, NAACP, SGA, IFC, and too many honor organizations to list here.  We are also involved with our sister organization Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Tau Xi Chapter.  We invite you to visit us during the month of February during BLUE PHI Weekend which consists of  "The Biggest Greek Show in the State of Alabama", and many other activities.  Also during the month of April, we invite you down the the world famous Sigma Week, which consists of many activities during the week and ends with the monumental and historic GOOMBAY. Please take the time to visit our beautiful chapter and our historic university.

"Our Cause Speeds On Its Way".
